CAFF113 | Diploma in Theatre
The practice-based Diploma in Theatre programme offers a combination of both theory and practice that aims to develop the knowledge and creativity as a professional theatre practitioner. The Theatre core modules comprise courses in vocal technique, acting, directing, physical theatre, creative movement, stagecraft, script analysis, traditional theatre, traditional dance, theatre for young audiences, the art of stage & production management, art history, Malaysian theatre appreciation, theatre portfolio and theatre production. The students will have the opportunities to collaboratively work with interdisciplinary artistes and industry practitioners, while building professional networks during one semester professional training at the end of the program. Students of the Diploma in Theatre programme will be prepared as professionals in performing arts fields as performance makers, theatre actors, directors, performing arts project leaders, designers, teachers, creative arts technicians, production administrators, and producers.

CAFF116 | Diploma in Drama & Dance Technology
The Diploma in Drama & Dance Technology offers transformation knowledge, skills, and experience in dancing by engaging with traditional & contemporary dance techniques, ballet techniques, basic & advanced acting, choreography, introduction to technology in performing arts, technology & new media, dance drama, digital theatre, dance for camera as well as performing arts theory & criticism. During this two-and-a-half-year programme, students will gain practical and theoretical training in technologically driven dance programme by knowledgeable, qualified, and experienced scholars and practitioners. Students will also be exposed to the industry for one semester of professional training at the end of the study. This program is designed to prepare students for career opportunities that will allow them to become professional artistes, performers, dancers, dance teachers & instructors, educators, movement directors, choreographers, and administrators.

CAFF234 | Bachelor of Theatre (Honours) Theatre Production
The Bachelor of Theatre (Honours) Theatre Production is a three-year sophisticated performance-making, industry-led degree focused on the contemporary and traditional dramatic approaches. It encompasses all aspects of theatre and performing arts, including vocal technique, acting, directing, art & theatre history, drama & theatre criticism, creative movement, dance traditional theatre, theatre crafts, stage & production management, and theatre production industrial project. The Bachelor of Theatre (Honours) Theatre Production produces notable impacts across Malaysia and beyond with both professional industry collaborations and a dynamic creative community linkage in the field of theatre and performing arts through the academic innovation of Work-Based Learning (2u1i) special programme. Students will seek to develop their arts practice and will be critically engaged with artistes and practitioners during their one-year training and theatre production industrial project. The students will have the career opportunities as professional actors, performers, directors, producers, performing art administrators, educators, technicians, theatre educators, and creative art entrepreneurs.

CAFF235 | Bachelor of Theatre (Honours) Scenography
The Bachelor of Theatre (Honours) Scenography program has been designed to create a high-quality academic environment in all aspects of visual arts, crafts, design, and technologies for performing arts. The students will creatively learn to design a broad range of scenography elements such as scenery, costumes, make-up & special effects, lighting, sound, and technical effects for live events including environmental theatre, site-specific performance installation along with production practices. With a fantastic learning environment, the program provides strong connections to industry practice with professional partners, venues, production & scenic workshops, design studios and spaces across Malaysia and beyond. In ensuring the acquired knowledge, skills and experience are competitively achieved according to the professional standards, students will have the opportunities to learn stagecraft, visual communication for scenography, sound design & audio technology, costume design, make-up & special effects, CAD & technical drawing, set & props design, theatre technical & lighting design, drama & theatre criticism, and theatre production industrial project. The scenography programme offers an impressive prospective career as the students will be able to become performance designers, scenographers (set & props, lighting, sound, make up & costume designers), production designers, art directors as well as performing arts visual artists, craftsmen, and technicians.
